Gary Nicholas Crispino passed away peacefully on April 12, 2017. He was born on July 22, 1961 in Gilroy, California to Nicholas Carl Crispino and Marie Domenica Nicassio. Gary was a graduate gemologist who worked over 35 years with some of the finest auction galleries and jewelers in the field, including Butterfield & Butterfield, Gleim the Jeweler, Kerns of Burlingame, and most recently as Vice President and Director of Fine Jewelry at Clars Auction Gallery.

Ismael G. "Ish" Hernandez passed away on April 11, 2017 at the age of 61 years. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at St. Benedict Church, 1200 Fairview Road in Hollister on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 12:00pm.Â
Dolores J. Bravo April 9, 1949 – April 9, 2017
On April 9, 2017 (on her birthday) Dolores J. Bravo died at the age of 68, at her home in Fresno, surrounded by her children. She leaves behind her three children, Angie Corona, Lydia Corona (Teresa) of Modesto and Moe Bedolla Jr. (Lena) of Gilroy. She also leaves behind her siblings Nancy Ann Bravo of Sunnyvale, Mary Casarez of Merced, Frankie Bisceglia, Margie LeGrand (Maurice) and Peter Bisceglia (Lola) of Hollister. She has six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all those who loved her. May she rest in peace. There will be a private memorial service.

Margie Ruiz passed away peacefully on April 6, 2017 in Las Vegas Nevada, where she had lived since 2009. She leaves behind her loving family Debbie (Dean), Patrick (Kim) and Christopher (Sarah), along with seven grandchildren and her surviving siblings, Irma Maquinalez and Jim Garcia.

Christina Schleer Schulz died peacefully on March 24, 2017 in Greenbrae, CA at the age of 91. Chris was born in Hollister, CA in 1925, first daughter of Robert and Rose Schleer. She attended one-room Enterprise School on Fairview Road and graduated from San Benito County High School in 1945.

Theresa Dianne Martin, 55, passed away Monday, April 10, 2017 at home in Hollister, California with her family by her side. She is survived by her husband, James W. Martin Jr., her son, James W. Martin III (Cody) and daughter, Stephanie Michelle Martin.

Second Leavesley Motorcycle Death in a Week
For the second time in less than a week, a motorcyclist died April 19 in a traffic collision at the intersection of Leavesley and Holsclaw roads in Gilroy, according to authorities.
