7th/8th Grade Boys

Gilroy Mustangs 51,

Coyote Creek 36

The game was tied 30-30 going into the fourth quarter when Gilroy turned up the heat with a full court press and outscored Coyote Creek 21-6 to win. The Mustangs played great team basketball and were led by Dominick Leach (16 pts, 16 rebounds, 4 blocks), Nathan Seifert (14 pts, 9 steals, 4 assists), Cameron Yawary (6 pts, 3 steals, 3 assists) and Chris Catanzaro (5 pts, 6 steals, 3 blocks).

7th/8th Grade Girls

Gilroy Lady Sparks 42, Evergreen 17

The Sparks easily beat Evergreen behind great team defense. Lauren Rhodes led the team with 14 points while Alex Rose scored 10.

Gilroy Titans 45,

Evergreen 22

Alana Osaka and Lindsey Foster led the Titans in scoring, while Kristen Costa’s hustle was a big boost defensively.

3rd/4th Grade Boys
