Men’s D

Gilroy – Team Hair FX rallied for four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to upset South Valley Plumbing-Elam Trucking 13-12 in Men’s D League adult softball action Friday at Las Animas Park.

A two-run single by Rich Furtado helped the Plumbers-Truckers to four runs in the top of the seventh for a 12-9 edge. Team Hair FX responded with an RBI-single from Joel Torres and two-run triple by Mark Rodriguez to tie the score. Moses Caballero lofted a sacrifice fly to plate the winning run.

Caballero added a triple and two doubles to the 2-0 Hair FX offense. Dave Lujan delivered a double and two singles for South Valley-Elam.

Dave Del Villar homered and Dave Keim slapped a double and three singles to lead Dr. Tile past the Bomb Squad 23-10. Dave Espinoza stroked a home run and triple, Rian Alnas a double and two singles for the Bombers.

Joaquin Chacon hit a three-run home run and a sacrifice fly to highlight an 11-6 Dan Keith Septics victory over Rosso’s Rebels. Alex Pena singled and doubled for the Rebels.

Men’s BB

DLM Electric topped Interstate Fence-Dee’z Nutz 7-6 to leave both teams at 1-1 in Men’s BB League play Friday at Christmas Hill Park.

Anthony Gutierrez singled and scored on a Joe Ojeda triple in the bottom of the seventh to break a 6-6 tie. Ojeda took game batting honors with a 3-for-3 effort. Rob Sanchez homered and doubled for Interstate-Dee’z.

Rich Perez collected four doubles to spark the Good Fellas past Kline’s Plumbing 19-9. Gil Barry homered, Jadrien Garcia went 4-for-4 and Brent Boyd 3-for-4 for Kline’s Plumbing.

Co-Rec D

Kenny Gordon went 3-for-3 with a home run Sunday as 2-1 Team Hair FX defeated the Bullies 15-6 in Co-Rec D League action at Las Animas.

Norma Wendt scored four Hair runs. John Carrillo went 3-for-3 for the 1-2 Bullies.

Jess Alonzo went 3-for-3 to lead the 2-1 Big Kahunas by Frame Your Family In Eyewear 15-0. Jason Trujillo and Nicole Villarreal clubbed singles for the Framers.

Co-Rec E

South County Rockery clipped Radiator Doctor 13-8 Sunday in a battle of unbeaten Co-Rec E League clubs at Las Animas.

Mike Lopez went 3-for-3 and Grave Gonzalez collected two RBI with three singles for the 3-0 Rockery. Paul Sanchez and Henry Maquinalez Sr. each singled and doubled, scoring two Radiator Doctor runs.

Scott Wilson and Jason Throckmorton each stroked two doubles as Giacalone Electrical Services defeated Spirit of Morgan Hill 9-2. Pete Borja hit a two-run home run for the Spirit of Morgan Hill.

Men’s C

The Las Animas Sweepers edged past Pro Electric 16-15 to leave both clubs involved in a four-team tie for first place in the Men’s C League Monday at Las Animas Park.

Donnie Gooding homered and Spencer Rice lined a double and two singles as the Sweepers moved to 2-1. Matt Piedmont and Gino Martinez each homered in three-hit efforts for 2-1 Pro Electric.

Dave Vogel hit a triple and two singles as Stubby’s Sports Bar & Grill upset Los Amigos Construction 18-11. Marco Lopez scored four runs for the 2-1 Grill. Daniel Vasquez went 4-for-4 and scored four runs for Los Amigos.

Bobby Lopez went 3-for-3 as California Silk Screening (2-1) defeated Rhino Wiring 11-3. Daniel Estrada and Johnny Andrade each singled and doubled for the Wire.

Men’s CC

The Gilroy NAPA Slammers topped Going Somewhere 17-8 in Men’s CC play Monday at Las Animas.

Mike Gonzales hit two home runs and Dustin Barnes went 4-for-4 for the 2-1 Slammers. Ryan Bell and Richard Towner each went 3-for-4 for Going Somewhere.

Co-Rec C

Esmeralda Hernandez singled home Dan Rodriguez with two out in the bottom of the final inning to give Chicks N’ Sticks a 16-15 nod over Cary O’Neal Roofing in Co-Rec C play Monday at Christmas Hill Park.

Dave Perez hit a double and two singles for the Sticks. Mike Catangay went 3-for-3 for Cary O’Neal Roofing.

Dee’z Nutz and Cherriez defeated All Out 24-7 to leave Dee’z, O’Neal and the Sticks tied for first at 2-1. Rich Chavez hit a single, double and triple for Dee’z. Cody Wilson and Ruben Ramirez each homered for All Out.

Co-Rec B

Dequin’s Auto Body-Stubby’s Sports Bar & Grill edged Pacific Coast Bail Bonds 20-19 in eight innings to leave the winners alone atop the Co-Rec B League with a 3-0 mark Sunday.

Bobby Reggiani hit a two-run home run with two out in the bottom of the eighth for Dequin’s-Stubby’s. Cortney Almaguer and Neal Andrade each lined four hits for the winners. Benjie Casarez went 5-for-5 and Rich Rodriquez homered for Pacific Coast Bail Bonds (2-1).

Lights Out (1-2) turned back Yeah So 9-4 as Mike Hernandez and Mike Sandoval each provided two doubles. Cameron Bautista managed two hits and scored twice for Yeah So.
