Cleanup day at San Luis Reservoir
San Luis – San Luis Reservoir will host a shoreline cleanup project sponsored by California State Parks and the California Coastal Commission from 9am until noon today. Starting at 8:30am, participating visitors and boaters will receive a garbage bag and rubber gloves at the Basalt entrance station at San Luis Reservoir upon entering.
The park (and boat) day use fee for today will be waived for participants who collect garbage the entire three hours.
Between noon and 1pm, when volunteers drop off their full garbage bags, each car of volunteers will be given a second free day use pass for their next visit to San Luis Reservoir.

A call to artists and craft vendors
Gilroy – St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church is now accepting applications from vendors for their annual Arts and Craft Fair, a fundraiser for the Gilroy church.
Fair dates are Nov. 3 and 4. The charge to vendors is $60 for an 8-foot table space. Vendors need to donate one hand made item for a raffle.
All crafts must be hand made by the artist.
