GILROY – J.R. Brewski’s, 8080 Santa Teresa Blvd., has teamed with Second Harvest Food Bank in San Jose for the holidays. Through Monday, Dec. 22, J.R. Brewski’s will donate $1 of the purchase price for each of its special Cream Cheese Chocolate Decadence sold to the food bank.

Veteran broadcasts

GILROY – The City of Gilroy presents the “Fifth Annual Gilroy Veterans Video Tribute,” and will be broadcasting it on Cable Channel 17 through the Christmas holidays. This one-hour program features photos of more than 300 Gilroy military veterans. The program will be shown daily at 10 a.m., 4 p.m. and 8 p.m., unless pre-empted by a scheduled city meeting broadcast. The next two weeks are the last chances to view this special presentation, so be sure to view it while you still can.
