GILROY – J.R. Brewski’s, 8080 Santa Teresa Blvd., has teamed with Second Harvest Food Bank in San Jose for the holidays. Through Monday, Dec. 22, J.R. Brewski’s will donate $1 of the purchase price for each of its special Cream Cheese Chocolate Decadence sold to the food bank.

Veteran broadcasts
GILROY – The City of Gilroy presents the “Fifth Annual Gilroy Veterans Video Tribute,” and will be broadcasting it on Cable Channel 17 through the Christmas holidays. This one-hour program features photos of more than 300 Gilroy military veterans. The program will be shown daily at 10 a.m., 4 p.m. and 8 p.m., unless pre-empted by a scheduled city meeting broadcast. The next two weeks are the last chances to view this special presentation, so be sure to view it while you still can. Trees for grads
SAN MARTIN – The Battaglia Christmas Tree Ranch, 13580 Murphy Ave., is proud to help sponsor “Safe and Sober Grad Night,” for the Gilroy High School Class of 2004. Battaglia will donate $5 for each Green Christmas Tree of six feet or more purchased and $10 for each Flocked Tree of six feet or more purchased this season. There is no limit on the number of trees which may be purchased.
