Alejandro M. Torres, 85, died in San Jose on Dec. 2, 2003, after
a brief illness.
Alejandro M. Torres, 85, died in San Jose on Dec. 2, 2003, after a brief illness. He was a native of San Jose, Costa Rica.
Mr. Torres worked at Gentry’s for 15 years and has been a Gilroy resident for more than 45 years.
Mr. Torres was preceded in death by his wife Petra R. Torres and a step-daughter Margaret Trevino. He is survived by his step-children, Estela Morales, Clara Lugo, Robert Alonzo, Jess Alonzo, Nellie Trevino, Paul Alonzo, Rudy Alonzo and Jose Alonzo, all of Gilroy, Charles Alonzo, of Kentucky, and Raul Alonzo, of Clear Lake. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy Funeral Services will start at 2:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, Gilroy.
