Gilroy native Rachel Elizabeth Regalado Gomez passed away at her home in Gilroy, on June 24, 2003. She was 56 years old.
She is survived by her children, George Regalado Jr. of Gilroy, Denise Cocio of Elk Grove, Roslyn Regalado of Santa Clara, Bernadette Regalado of Gilroy; her grandchildren, George Jason Regalado of Gilroy, Kiahni Coleman of Gilroy, Sarina Cocio of Elk Grove; and the late twin grandsons Gabriel Julian and Jacob John Silva. Rachel is also survived by her brothers and sister Mary Gomez Valenzuela, Romaldo Gomez Jr., Frances Chavez, Carol Gomez, Rojelio Gomez, Rose Gomez-Colon, Michael Gomez, Richard Gomez, Ruben Gomez, Bert Gomez, Fernie Gomez, her identical twin Romelia Possa and the late Raul Gomez. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Evening Service will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at Gilroy Presbyterian Church. Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Church with burial following at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park. Services are under the direction of Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy.
Family would appreciate donations to the Family Worship Center, San Martin, in her memory.
Rachel, a faithful Christian, was a loving mother, grandmother and sister and will be missed by all who knew her.
