Michelle Diane Walden Goodrich, 39, died Wednesday, June 11,
2003, surrounded by her loved ones. Michelle lost her fight with
the Lymphoma she has battled for 15 months.
Michelle Diane Walden Goodrich, 39, died Wednesday, June 11, 2003, surrounded by her loved ones. Michelle lost her fight with the Lymphoma she has battled for 15 months. She was a hub of love and friendship to all who had the good fortune to know her. Michelle was born in San Jose, graduated from Gilroy High School and was most recently a resident of Hollister. She was a 13-year executive assistant at Granite Construction. Her high energy, courage, beauty, grace and dignity were an inspiration as her fighting spirit endured. Her passion for life, family, friends and work are her legacy.
Michelle is survived by the love of her life, Bobby Goodrich, the apple of her eye, daughter Madison (8), mother Pat Schaldach, grandmother Maxine Murdock, brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Kristin Duff, their sons Zach and Ryan, brother and sister-in-law Nathan and Monica Schaldach, their son Austin, all of Caruthers, aunt Denise Perry of Hollister, father Jim Duff of Texas, and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and dear friends.
A celebration of Michelle’s life will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Henry Mello Center for the Performing Arts, 250 E. Beach St., Watsonville. Donations are preferred to the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health, 770 Welch Road, Suite 350, Palo Alto, CA 94304, Attn: Gift Processing.
