The Morgan Hill Gymnastics team traveled to Clovis on Sunday,
Oct. 19 to compete in the Jack-O-Lantern Jamboree.
CLOVIS – The Morgan Hill Gymnastics team traveled to Clovis on Sunday, Oct. 19 to compete in the Jack-O-Lantern Jamboree.

Both levels competed in the same session and the Level 5s got into the action for team awards. The combined efforts of all the girls netted them a fourth-place team trophy.

At Level 5s, 10-year old Amanda Suniga placed sixth in the all-around by finishing fourth on floor and beam, sixth on vault and seventh on bars. Teammate Melina Sagor, 10, took 12th in the all-around by placing eighth on beam, 10th on vault, 12th on bars, and 13th on floor.

At Level 4s for ages 7-8, Jordan Fedalizo, 8, claimed third in the all-around – placing third on floor, fourth on beam, and seventh on both bars and vault. Seven-year old Samantha Laird placed fourth in the all-around – scoring second on vault, fourth on floor, fifth on bars, and eighth on beam. Eight-year old Alexis DeHaven finished sixth in the all-around – taking fifth on beam and vault, sixth on floor, and eighth on bars. Seven-year old Caroline Seifert placed eighth in the all-around by finishing fifth on floor, seventh on beam, and eighth on bars and vault.

At Level 4s for 9-year olds, Danielle Risner took eighth in the all-around – placing fifth on bars, seventh on floor, eighth on vault, and 10th on beam. Teammate Jamie Webb finished ninth in the all-around – scoring ninth on floor and beam, and 10th on bars and vault.

At Level 4s for ages 10 and older, 12-year old Jaclyn Dixon finished second in the all-around by placing second on floor and vault, fourth on bars, and seventh on beam. Teammate Emelie Hertz, 10, took sixth in the all-around – scoring third on bars, seventh on floor, eighth on vault, and ninth on beam.
