– Gilroy Community Services is sponsoring the Young Artists
Show, featuring the work of local artists age 5 to 18, through
Friday, March 21. The exhibit is at the Willey Cultural Center, 140
Fifth St. and is open Saturday and Sunday from noon to 3 p.m.,
Monday through Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. and

Support Brownell band

GILROY – Come hear the Brownell Academy Band play as they host a fund raiser at Chevys on Monday, March 17. Come celebrate

St. Patrick’s Day and help raise funds for a trip to Disneyland. The band will play starting at 6 p.m. Chevys is located at 8440 Murray Ave. Details: 847-3377.

Swim with the Gators

GILROY – The Gilroy Gators Swim Team is holding its annual swim clinic and tryouts from 5 to 6 p.m. March 24 through 28 at the Gilroy High School pool. Swimmers must be between the ages of 5 and 18 and know how to swim. Registration is $20 can be done at the pool office between 5 and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday until March 21. ‘Let’s murder marsha’

GILROY – Pintello Comedy Theater will present “Let’s Murder Marsha,” a clever comedy of mistaken intentions, beginning on Friday, March 21 through April 19. ‘Follow that rabbit’

MORGAN HILL – South Valley Civic Theatre presents its children’s production, “Follow That Rabbit – The Wonderland Story” beginning Friday, March 21 through April 12. The show will run Friday and Saturday evenings at 7 p.m., with matinee performances at 2 p.m. on March 30 and April 6. The play will be performed at the Morgan Hill Community Playhouse at the corner of Dunne and Monterey. Doors open one half hour prior to performance. Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for students and seniors. Group rates are available. Tickets can be purchased at California Music in Gilroy. Tickets will also be available at the door. Adopt a cat

MORGAN HILL – Town Cats has several special-needs kittens who need expensive surgeries, mostly to correct severe eye problems. Stop by their cat and kitten adoption fair on Saturday, March 29 from noon to 5 p.m. to make a donation or adopt a furry friend. The fair will be at the Petco, on the corner of Monterey and Tennant.
