Kenneth E. Bailey, 70, died Nov. 3, 2003, after a brief illness in Reno, Nev.
He resided in Gilroy for many years, as a California Highway Patrol officer and then as a service station operator. He later moved to the Reno area and retired from the City of Sparks, Nev. He also serviced during the Korean War as an Air Force officer.
His survivors include a daughter,. Kerry Bailey, of Reno, and sons, Mark Bailey, of Reno, Chris Bailey, of Bradley, and Greg Bailey, of San Leandro; and a sister, Doris Mertz, of Boston, Mass.
At his request no services were held.
