DEAR EDITOR:
I have a question for the people in City Hall.
At the beginning of the month, a paving company came down Glenview Drive and Johnson Way and put up barricades stating “No Parking November 4, 5 and 6 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.”
I called and asked at City Hall was this was for and was told the cracks in the street were being filled.
Well, the barricades are gone for the most part, and Johnson Way had the cracks filled/sealed. But, Glenview Drive still has cracks and there was no sign of them being sealed.
Was the city billed for the entire neighborhood being “repaired” or just Johnson Way? I am wondering if someone from the city follows behind these contractors and checks to see if the streets that were billed as being repaired were in reality repaired. I would appreciate an answer.
