will host a wide array of talent playing music from different eras
beginning Saturday.
GILROY – The historic Strand Theater, at Lewis and Monterey streets, will host a wide array of talent playing music from different eras beginning Saturday.

The Acoustic Preservation Society, a duo that plays the greatest hits of the 60s and 70s, will play at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Strand ($12).

Then The Casuals will take listeners back another couple decades with dancing music from the 1940s. For $5, music fans are invited to dance from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Jan. 19.

Gilroy’s JuzCuz will play an all ages show that will cater to a younger crowd from 8 to 11 p.m. Jan. 24 with dance, funk and rythm and blues music. The band, a favorite from The Garlic Festival, just returned from a Hawaiian tour and plans to gets Gilroyans on the dance floor. Tickets are $10.

Finally, the Previously Lost Dogs, known throughout the Bay Area for its blend of country, reggae, jazz and rock and roll, will play at 8 p.m. Jan. 25. Tickets are $12.
