‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Reunion’
GILROY – Don’t miss “Rock ‘n Roll Reunion,” a singing and dancing tribute to the ’50s and ’60s.
The show is a pre-sentation of John Bisceglie and the City of Gilroy Com-munity Service Department.
The annual Children’s Summer Theater production will take place beginning Friday, Aug. 8, and run through Sunday, Aug. 23 at the Gilroy High School Theater, 750 W. 10th St.
Showtimes are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30. Sunday matinees are at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 each, and proceeds benefit Kids Discover Art 2004. Details: 846-8836.
Pintello’s latest live comedy
GILROY – Pintello Comedy Theater will present “Right Bed, Wrong Husband,” Friday and Saturday nights at 8 p.m. on Aug. 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, 30, Sept. 5, 6, 12 and 13.

Dust off your saddle shoes
GILROY – The final concert in the free Summer Concert Series is Sunday, Aug. 10, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Christmas Hill Park Amphitheater. Concert goers can dust off their saddle shoes and penny loafers and enjoy a trip down memory lane with The Corvairs, who will feature tunes from the ’50s and ’60s.

Voter registration drive
GILROY – Gilroy First will hold a registration drive kick-off event on Saturday, Aug. 9, at 10 a.m. at 6901 Church St. The public is invited to register to vote, help fellow citizens register and learn more about Gilroy issues. Volunteers will also help people apply for a permanent absentee ballot.

GILROY – The South Valley Business Showcase will debut on Wednesday, Sept. 10, from 1 to 7 p.m. at the Historic Strand Theater, 7588 Monterey St. “It’s Showtime” will feature the latest in products and services to thousands of potential customers under one roof. A “mixer” will also feature samplings of local restaurants and wineries. All booths cost $350, $500 for non-Gilroy Chamber members. For additional exposure, four sponsorship levels are available: Balcony Level II $100, Balcony Level I $350, Mezzanine Level $750 and Orchestra Level $1,500.
