Richard leaves his mother Dorothy Wilson of Gilroy; brothers Leslie Wilson of Gilroy and Denis Wilson of San Leandro; sisters Bernice Eaton of Eureka and Mildred Draper in Springfield, Mo.; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his sister Beverly Valencia in 1992.
A memorial service will be held at United Methodist Church, 7600 Church St., on Saturday, Feb. 5 at 1:30pm.
Memorial contributions may be made to United Methodist Church in Gilroy.
