League bowler throws 300 score at Gilroy Bowl
GILROY – Chet Steengrafe’s perfect 300 game (772 series) highlighted league action at the Gilroy Bowl last week – while Jess Salazar’s 793 series (290 high) topped the men’s divisions.
Tammy Lewis’ 716 series and 246 high bested the women’s divisions, while John Alexander’s 676 series and 268 high topped the junior’s division.
Rounding out the men’s divisions were: Tom Baty (709 series, 248 high); Larry Gallego (668 series, 234 high); James Syrovatka (704 series, 269 high); Mike Alciati (661 series, 247 high); Joe Rizzuto (663 series, 246 high); Dave DeCarlo (658 series, 236 high); and Scott Kawano (709 series, 254 high).
Finishing up strong in the women’s divisions were: Hiromi Sakai (602 series, 220 high); Pam Nelson (626 series, 237 high); Janis Gold (547 series, 205 high); Arlene Uvorsi (530 series, 220 high); and Ann Cid (523 series, 214 high).
