Florence Ann Toerpe died Sept. 12, 2003, in Atlanta, Ga. at the
age of 88.

Flo was a longtime resident of Gilroy and will be fondly remembered for her many, many years as an auxiliary member at both Wheeler Hospital and South Valley Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband Russell. She is survived by her daughter Jeanne and husband Michael Hondlik, of Chicago; daughter Darlene and husband Craig Hona-man, of Atlanta; son Kenneth, of Chicago; 10 grandchildren: Mark, of Sacramento, Michael, of Seattle, Nicholas, of Orlando, Justin and Garman, of Atlanta, Kelli, Susan, Jennifer, Kevin, all of Chicago; several great grand-children; a niece; and two nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Gilroy at noon on Oct. 3. Graveside services will immediately follow at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park.
