GILROY – Gil Barry went 3-for-3 Wednesday to propel unbeaten Westwood Barbers to a 5-3 Men’s Winter BB League decision over Pizza N Stuff Red Dogz at Las Animas Park.

J. R. Hernandez cracked a two-run single in the third inning as the Barbers scored three runs to take a 4-2 lead. Raul Gracia’s sacrifice fly in the sixth completed the Westwood scoring.

Carlos Diaz went 3-for-4 and Carlos Naranjo and Jaime Martinez each collected two hits for Pizza N Stuff Red Dogz.

The Tomcats joined Westwood at 3-0 atop the seven-team league with a 9-7 edging of Obata Farms.

The Tomcats erased a 3-0 deficit with a five-run push n the fourth inning. Rich Rodriquez began the Tomcat scoring with a two-out RBI-single. Marco Lopez and Danny Pequeno followed with singles, Jimmy Tomasetti a triple.

Jason Livingston drove in four runs with two home runs and a sacrifice fly for Obata Farms.

Bike Center-DataMate Accounting slipped into third place at 2-2 with a 15-6 decision over Deez Nutz. Mark Terrill tagged a triple and two singles for the Bikers. K.C. Adams went 3-for-3 for Deez Nutz.

No Soup 4 You remained unbeaten in Men’s DD play with a 6-3 nod over the Bomb Squad at Christmas Hill Park Wednesday.

Rudy Maquinalez and Fausto Padilla lofted sacrifice flies in a three-run first inning for the Soup. Angel Pasillas finished with a single and double, scoring twice for the winners. Manuel Rivera and Roy Ramos each went 3-for-3 for the Bomb Squad.

St. Mary Men’s Club moved into a fourth-place tie in the DD League with a 16-12 victory over the Brew Crew. Danny Molina went 5-for-5, while Gary Botill, Scott Aldridge and Frank McGill each mustered three hits for St. Mary. Lee Liberatore homered and Paul Morrow and John Weberg delivered three hits apiece for the Brew Crew.

Tony Maquinalez went 4-for-4 to highlight a 9-5 Victory Outreach verdict over Dan Keith Septics. Brian Christensen went 3-for-3 for Dan Keith Septics.
