SAN JOSE – The Gilroy Little League American Majors champions Angels advanced to the championship game in the District 59 Majors Tournament of Champions with a 9-3 victory Tuesday night in San Jose.
Alec Cordova and Bryan Easton combined to keep the Evergreen Red Sox at bay.
They await the winner of the other semifinal, which includes the Giants, the National Majors champs out of Gilroy Little League. That game that is scheduled for Wednesday.
