from another but fell in four sets to Seaside (26-24, 25-8, 25-20,
25-22) in Monterey Bay League action Tuesday in Seaside.
SEASIDE – The Christopher High varsity girls volleyball team received nine kills from three different players and eight more from another but fell in four sets to Seaside (26-24, 25-8, 25-20, 25-22) in Monterey Bay League action Tuesday in Seaside.
“We played as good of a match as we could have,” head coach Larry Nabzeska said. “We hit relatively well, (Seaside) just dug a lot of our hits.”
The Cougars offensive numbers were evenly distributed along the front row. Hannah Tabron had nine kills to just three errors and Claudia Ferreira and Aly Olvera also contributed nine kills each. Merrett Brown registered eight kills. Ferreira also has 19 digs.
CHS returns home to play MBL opponent Watsonville on Thursday. Game time is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
