Nicandro Canseco, 55, a homeless man whose body was found behind a Morgan Hill market, died of alcohol poisoning.
Canseco’s body was found behind Southside Market & Liquor, 16715 Monterey Road, Nov. 20, 2009. Police said two customers waiting on a takeout order at an adjacent restaurant noticed the body lying down next to a large garbage bin behind the store.
The Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office found that Canseco died of complications from acute ethanol intoxication, or alcohol poisoning. His death was accidental.
