A funeral is scheduled for 12:00 P.M., at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel in Los Banos. Visitation will start at 11:00 A.M. The family would like to thank caregiver, Christina Garcia and UCSF of Fresno for their efforts, care, and dedication.
 David Michael Wood, 56, of Los Banos, CA, beloved husband and best friend of Luci (Bravo) Wood for 33 years, entered into eternal peace on March 9, 2015.
 Besides his wife Luci, David is survived by his three children, Amber Bravo-Ojinaga and her husband, Richard Ojinaga of Vasalia, April Wood of Los Banos and Tristan and his wife Rebeca Wood of Los Banos, his grandchildren; Dylan, Anthony, Elia, Ryan and Ricky; his mother, Doris Holloway, sister, Debbie St. Cloud and brother, Dean Wood all of Gilroy as well as numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
 He is preceded in death by his father, Denny Wood of San Martin.
 David was born on October 18, 1958 in Santa Cruz and raised in San Martin.
 He graduated from Live Oak High in 1976 and attended Gavilan College thereafter. He played football through out his high school and college career and because of his love for the sport became a coach for Gavilan.
 David began working for Falcon Cable after he moved to Gilroy which started his career in the cable business. He started Gill Cable in 1980 as an installer, and over a span of 33 years and with several changes to the company, he worked his way up to Technical Supervisor of what is now Comcast.
 His children remember him as being a loving father who encouraged them to be independent and work hard for the things they want. He was a generous, witty, and dedicated individual who loved life and who was passionate about all of his hobbies.
