Team registration for the Super Showdown X Texas Hold ‘Em tournament is now open at the Gilroy Recreation Department, 7351 Rosanna Street.
The tournament will kick off at 10 a.m. Jan. 31 at the Gilroy Senior Center. It features four person teams playing at different tables and serves as a fundraiser for several City of Gilroy programs—including youth scholarships, the youth center and senior activities.
A minimum of nine tables of players is expected. The final table is slated to conclude around 3 p.m. Team and individual honors will also be announced.
A $60 entry fee and a roster are needed to register by the Jan. 26 deadline. The event is open to men and women 18 and older.
