Neil Simon wrote “Rose’s Dilemma,” a funny comedy that revolves around a has-been writer involved with the ghost of a dead lover from the past. She conjures him up to help with her writing and sex life—and anything else that pleases her. The ghost revolts and we are off on a fun trip, riding along to see how this all ends.
Rosalind Farotte plays Rose with a passionate sensitivity that brings community theatre up a few notches. Simply put, she is believable and really funny.
Tom Hepner plays Walsh, her ghost lover, Dana Morgan plays Arlene, her assistant, and Kevin Heath plays Gavin, a love interest. All deliver well.
Heath also directs the show with an even hand and created a lovely set.
Limelight Actors Theatre brings local arts to enjoyable well-done community theatre. It’s convenient, reasonable and fun. Put “Rose’s Dilemma” on your list for an enjoyable evening.
