Rose Teresa Wright July 21, 1922 – December 21, 2014

Memorial Services will be Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at 3:00 P.M., at the Saint Francis Retreat House, 549 Mission Vineyard Road, San Juan Bautista, CA 95045.  Rose Teresa Wright of Hollister CA passed away peacefully, at her daughter and son-in-law’s home in Salinas on December 21, 2014. Born on July 21, 1922, in San Jose CA, Rose soon moved with her family to Hollister, where she attended grammar school and then high school at San Benito High.
 Rose loved music and played violin and then trombone in her school marching band. After graduating, Rose decided to pursue her interest in fashion design at the Fashion Design Academy in San Francisco. She was quite handy with picture art using copper as her material, and was an incredible seamstress.  
 Rose could always be found in the kitchen, baking and cooking some of her favorite Italian meals. No one ever left her home hungry as long as she had something to say about it. Rose’s passion for preparing meals ended up taking her to the Saint Francis Retreat House where she cooked for hundreds of people for more than twenty years.
 Rose is survived by her son, Mitchell (Linda) Wright. Son, Richard Wright. Daughter, Cecilia (Jim) Coulson. Son, Gregory (KC) Wright. Rose has 10 Grand children and 13 great-grandchildren.
