The 98-acre winery is owned by Matt and Tiffany Oetinger, and is located west of Gilroy in the Santa Cruz Mountain Appellation.

The property was originally a homestead and was transformed into a vineyard in 1999 and a winery site in 2001.

The winery is beginning to bottle its 2003 harvest.
