Robert “Bobby” Hopf died peacefully on Feb. 19, 2004, in Guymon, Okla. He was 48.

He was born in Gilroy July 24, 1956. He attended Gilroy schools and later became a truck driver.

He is survived by his wife Irma of Guymon; daughter Trisha Hopf, of Porterville; son Bobby Joe Hopf, of Porterville; step children Juan Reyes, Christian Reyes and Dulce Reyes, all of Guymon; and three grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Bill (Mary) Hopf, of Gilroy; Beverly (Galen) Mitchell, of Gilroy; Helen (Leonard) Ortega, of Gilroy; Eddie (Karen) Hopf, of Waterford; Ronald (Carol) Hopf, of Gilroy; Eleanor (Roy) Phillips, of Hollister; and Donald (Debbie) Hopf, of Gilroy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Willie and Eleanor Hopf and his brother John Hopf, Sr.

Funeral services are pending in Yuma, Ariz.
