Avon has singled out Gilroy resident Donna Terrill to receive an award that recognizes a life lived –and business conducted — according to these values.
At a recently held awards ceremony recognizing members of Avon President’s Club, a prestigious group whose membership is limited to Avon’s top Sales Representatives, Terrill was presented with The Spirit of Avon Award. Each year, one Avon President’s Club Member from each District is selected as best representing the values embraced by Avon. The award, a gold statuette of a woman stretching her arms to the sky in an expression of exultation, was newly designed for the 2004 Tributes and is a symbol of strength, pride and femininity as befits “the company for women.”
Terrill, the embodiment of Avon’s values was selected by Avon Sales Management for the award because She naturally puts others’ needs ahead of her own, and offers encouragement when it is needed.
“Avon’s core values of trust, respect, belief, humility and integrity have stood the test of time and are a cherished part of Avon’s heritage,” explains Jody Dingivan, District Sales Manager. “These principles not only guide us but anchor Avon in an increasingly complex, demanding world.
