Colo., due to complications from cancer.
He was 61.

He was 61.

Mr. Denman grew up in Sunnyvale and attended Cupertino Junior High and graduated from Fremont High School in 1961. He graduated from San Jose State University in 1971. He was a Sigma Pi fraternity brother and member of the Flying 20’s, among other activities.

A long-time resident of Gilroy, Mr. Denman was a member of the Gilroy Chamber of Commerce, the Gilroy Elks Lodge, and a real estate agent.

He was also an avid supporter and volunteer for the Gilroy Garlic Festival. His love for his eldest grandson Andrew led him into coaching for the Cupertino National Little League, and he helped lead his grandson’s team to many victories.

He is loved and survived by his son and daughter-in-law, David and Jennifer Denman of Fort Collins, Colo.; daughter, Kelley Denman of Cupertino; daughter and son-in-law, Kari and Scott Duffy of Breckenridge, Colo.; and grandchildren, Andrew Denman of Cupertino, Paige and Caitlin Denman of Fort Collins, Colo. and Calvin Duffy and his yet-to-be-born sister of Breckenridge, Colo.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 6 from 3 to 4pm at the Kennedy Middle School Gymnasium in Cupertino.
