in Los Gatos after surgical complications.

Mrs. Archibald was born in Connecticut and moved to the Oregon Coast early in her childhood. She was an active member of Beta-Sigma-Phi. She was a member of the Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Brookings and a visiting member of St. Mary’s Church in Gilroy. She was a very compassionate person. She loved spending time with her family and extended family. Norma enjoyed reading, travel, watching sports and playing pinochle.

She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Tony and Dixie Felipe, of Green Valley, Ariz.; son and daughter-in-law and their three sons Scott and Kim Archibald, of Danville, and Brandon, Bryant and Bradley; daughter and son-in-law Teri and Butch Cochran, of Gilroy; daughter and son-in-law Lauri and Brad Coleman and their children Joshua, Tiffany and Ariel, all of Brookings; son Mike Archibald and his children Lauren and Steven, of Livermore; and daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Ray Blagof, of Gilroy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Archibald and their infant son John Steven Archibald.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday at the Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Brookings, at 11 a.m. Reception to follow.
