He is survived by wife, Norma Sheppard and daughters, Jacalyn Steele and Gay Lynn Petishnok.

He was proceeded in death by his son Perry James.

Visitation has been held at the Johnson Funeral Home, 17720 Monterey St. in Morgan Hill. Funeral services will be held today at 1pm, at the funeral home, followed by interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Morgan Hill.
