Dear Editor,
I just want to remind everyone what a great guy Jeramy Ailes was. Jeramy and I were friends through out high school. He was the nicest guy I had ever met.
I moved to Chico about two years ago and hadn’t spoken with Jeramy or seen him around for about a year and a half. When I received a call from my friend Cheryl last Tuesday night she told me the bad news, I was shocked and I just couldn’t beleive that he is gone.
I am very proud to have known Jeramy. He was a brave young Marine who loved his country and has given his life for it.
My date and I double dated with Jeramy and his date to one of our proms and that night was such a fun night, we laughed forever. There were nothing but smiles that night.
Jeramy always had good things to say about everything and everyone. Everyone has their bad days, but honestly Jeramy was one of the few people which I had never seen in a bad mood.
Once when I was down in Gilroy visiting I was shopping at the Gilroy Outlets and across the way I heard a man’s voice saying very loudly “YUP!.” I instantly knew who it was. It was Jeramy with a big smile on his face. I will never forget his smile and cheery attitude. He will be missed greatly.
