Dear Editor,
The Gilroy High School Marching Band and Color Guard along with
the members of their Booster Club would like to thank The Dispatch
for publicizing our recent field show competition, along with the
community members who came out to support it.
The field show competition was a great success, and it helped us
to earn some of the money needed for transportation and other music
program necessities.
Dear Editor,
The Gilroy High School Marching Band and Color Guard along with the members of their Booster Club would like to thank The Dispatch for publicizing our recent field show competition, along with the community members who came out to support it.
The field show competition was a great success, and it helped us to earn some of the money needed for transportation and other music program necessities.
Contributors to the show included Safeway, Kachy Produce, Beckmann’s Old World Bakery, Gar N. Chan D.D.S., Leslie Benson of the Claddaugh Restaurant, Chris Lunde of Dick and ‘M’ Lady Bruhn, Jeff Cathers of Azure Technologies, Tom and Robyn Houts of Southern Cross Farm, Candace Fazzio of Monterey Street Music Academy, Al Pinheiro of Al Pinheiro Insurance Agency, Guy M. Bostock of Bostock Chiropractic Services, Dr. Tommy Tong, South Valley Disposal, United Rentals and Cresco.
We appreciate and admire the dedication these individuals have shown to sustaining the arts, as well as their efforts to support the young and talented musicians at Gilroy High.
Our show would not have been the success it was without them. We would also like to extend our very special thanks to Rick and Linda Chavert, GHS Band and Color Guard Booster Club parents, who worked tirelessly to put the event together. Our community can be proud of the first-rate show at Gilroy High School.
Phyllis Moore, Gilroy
