Softball and baseball tryouts for several local teams are coming
up.
Make-up tryouts for Gilroy Little League
GILROY – Gilroy Little League will hold make-up tryouts on Saturday at Las Animas Park due to last weekend’s rain.
Tryouts for: Boys ages 11-12 at 8 a.m.; Boys ages 9-10 at 9 a.m.; Boys age 8 at 10 a.m.; and Boys age 7 at 11 a.m.
Tryouts for: Girls ages 13-15 at 8 a.m.; Girls ages 11-12 at 9 a.m.; and Girls ages 7-8 at 11 a.m.
Walk-in registration is welcome, and the league really encourages girls 13-15 to come out.
Hot Shots tryouts at Buck’s Field
GILROY – The Hot Shots 14-Under ‘A’ girls fastpitch softball team will be holding a tryout for their 2004 season on Saturday, January 31 at 9:30 a.m.
Tryouts will be held at Buck’s Field, located at 11465 Monterey Highway in San Martin.

Ballistic tryouts at Las Animas
GILROY – The Silicon Valley Ballistic, Gilroy’s 14 and under boys travel baseball team, will be holding tryouts on Saturday, February 21 at 9 a.m. at Las Animas Park in Gilroy (Wren field).

Shockers tryouts at GHS
GILROY – Gilroy Shockers 12A/B and10U fastpitch travel teams are holding tryouts on Sunday, January 25 and Sunday, February 1 at Gilroy High School Girls Varsity Field.
Pitchers and catchers need to show up at 10 a.m. and all other positions show up at 11 a.m.
