Norberto Alanis, 83, died Jan. 18, 2004, in San Jose.
He was the loving husband of Josefina Alanis of Gilroy; loving father of Alfredo and his wife Kim Alanis, of Gilroy, Norbert and his wife Gloria Alanis, of Gilroy, Tony and his wife Yolanda Alanis, of San Jose, and Jim and his wife Sally Alanis, of Gilroy. He was the grandfather of 11 and great grandfather of eight. He is also survived by many relatives in Monterrey, Mexico.
Vigil will be Thursday at 7 p.m. at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy. Funeral Services will begin Friday at 9 a.m. at the funeral home. Then to St. Mary Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Gilroy.
