Chaput goes 3-for-3 with a run-scoring triple in 9-6 victory at

GILROY – Dan Keith Septics rallied past Bay Sheets 9-6 Sunday to move to 2-0 atop the Men’s DDD League standings at Gavilan Sports Park.
Bay Sheets, 1-1, struck for four runs in the second inning for a 4-1 advantage. Joe Benevides lashed a run-scoring single and George Palacio lofted a sacrifice fly for the Sheets.
A Jason Chaput triple helped Dan Keith Septics to two runs in the fourth inning. The Septics line-up batted around in the fifth for six runs, including a lead-off home run by Danny Rubacalva. Brian Christensen completed the rally with a two-run single.
Chaput took game batting honors at 3-for-3. Serf Mancera went 3-for-4 for Bay Sheets.
The Hitmen joined Dan Keith Septics at 2-0 with a 13-5 decision over Most Wanted.
Mario Razo stroked a three-run home run and Jeff Stuck went 3-for-5 for the Hitmen. Luis Alfaro collected a single and double, Daniel Maquinalez a two-run single for Most Wanted.
California Overhead (1-1) claimed a forfeit win over Victory Outreach.
Chicks N’ Sticks are 2-0 in the second half and 8-0 over-all in the Co-Rec League after a 12-1 victory over Dicar Insurance Sunday at Las Animas Park.
Danny Rodriguez scored four runs and Missy Howe and Jessica Loza each drilled three singles for the Sticks. K. C. Adams went 3-for-3 and scored one Dicar run. Kyle Costa and Vicki Velasquez each managed two hits for Dicar.
Cory Casillas went 5-for-5 and Tim Adams homered in a 4-for-5 effort as Covenant Builders topped Rush Order 25-7. Danny Pequeno went 2-for-3 and scored three Rush Order runs.
Yolanda Lomas went 2-for-4 with three RBI as Mitsubishi Motors defeated Team Hair FX 10-0. Monica Melendrez doubled and tripled for the Motors. Dee Wilson went 2-for-3 for Team Hair FX.
