DEAR EDITOR:
I just read your story on Kristen Porter, the teacher who was
revealed to be stripping when not at work.
While I am firmly in favor of teacher’s personal lives being
kept personal, some things cross the line.
DEAR EDITOR:
I just read your story on Kristen Porter, the teacher who was revealed to be stripping when not at work.
While I am firmly in favor of teacher’s personal lives being kept personal, some things cross the line. You at the Gilroy Dispatch should congratulate yourselves for uncovering this information, which I am sure many many parents will be grateful to have before they put their children in the classroom.
Parents have the right to know about who is teaching them and what values they are passing along. While I personally wouldn’t fire a teacher for this activity, I think everyone should have the right to know because there are many who would disagree with me. Good job and good reporting.
Also, good job on the story about the pet store puppies. It’s just another case of the community getting ALL the information and then making a decision of their own.
