Garcia hits two homers; Silvia slams four extra base hits in
22-9 victory
GILROY – Jade Garcia crushed two home runs Tuesday as 3-1 Obata Farms powered by Punishment Inc. 22-9 in Men’s C League play at Gavilan Sports Park.

Robert Silvia delivered four extra-base hits as the Farmers remained one game off the pace set by unbeaten Good Fellas. Jeff Heck and Josh Torres each finished with four hits. Mario Vena and Jason Livingston hit Obata Farms home runs.

Ray Bautista socked a home run, double and single, Jaime Martinez a homer and single for Punishment Inc.

Good Fellas scored four runs in the top of the first inning and went on to defeat Dee’z Nutz 18-5. Kenny Hopf launched a three-run homer in a 4-for-4, four-run night for the league leaderrs. Robert Flores tagged a home run and two doubles, Ray Rojas homered and Cameron Bautista scored four Fellas markers. Ed Vargas and Gabriel Villegas each went 2-for-3 for Dee’z Nutz.

Tom Green went 3-for-4 to highlight a 17-13 D.A, Wolfe Construction win over Carreiro’s Plastering. Eric Jimenez and Green each drove in three Builder runs. Steve Boyd went 3-for-4 for Carreiro’s Plastering.

Craig Avila Bail Bonds is 3-0 atop the Men’s B League standings after a 32-3 victory over Westwood Barbers TUesday at Christmas Hill Park.

Anthony Hernandez led the 32-hit attack with a 5-for-5 effort. Tomas Carrillo ignited the offense with a two-run home run in the first frame. Steve Pacheco, Richie Rodriquez amd Benjie Casarez each drilled four hits and scored four runs.

Henry Calderon’s grand slam in the fifth inning lifted Team Talamo over Salas Trucking 6-2. Juan Gutierrez delivered two RBI-singles for the winners.
