GILROY – The M&M’s lost for the first time in four Women’s C League games Wednesday, leaving three teams tied at 3-1 atop the eight-team loop.

Barbara Kaufman sprayed four singles and Monica Melendrez homered as 2-2 Goldsmith Seeds powered past the M&Ms 29-8 at Gavilan Sports Park.

Antoinette Bowe singled and doubled as Goldsmith completed the win with an 11-run rally. Laura Hagiperos doubled and tripled, Missy Hice singled and tripled for the M&M’s.

Dutchman’s Pizza moved into a tie with the M&M’s by topping Eugene Marks Tractor Service 15-9.

Run-producing hits from Jeanne Ramos and Kristen Rennard gave Dutchman’s a 6-5 lead in the fourth inning. Stephenie Johnston cracked a two-run double in a three-run Pizza fifth. Johnston added a grand slam as Dutchman’s pushed across six runs in the sixth frame.

Dora Olivares, Cheryl Baragona and Rennard each finished with three Dutchman’s hits. Lisa Low, Nancy McDonald and Joanne Fowles mustered three hits apiece for Marks Tractor.

The Energizers (3-1) outlasted Chaos 17-13.

Donna Martin went 3-for-3 and scored four runs for the Energizers. Teena Lopez provided a double and two singles, Kathy Meisenheimer and Sally Snyder three singles apiece for the winners. Lucy Solorzano went 4-for-5, Sandi Liberatore 4-for-5 for 2-2 Chaos.

Vanessa Pena homered and Alicia Hernandez socked a single and two doubles to key a 24-2 Kay’s Kids victory over the Hpnotiqs. Monica Piedmont went 2-for-2 and Jesse DeMarco lined a run-scoring single for Hpnotiqs.

Maureen Hughes, Cherie Somavia and Rose Martinez collected four hits each Wednesday as Williams Dental Lab maintained a share of the Women’s B League lead with a 20-13 decision over Handmade Healthcare at Christmas Hill Park.

Somavia scored four runs as Williams (3-1) extended a winning streak to three games. Mary Ellen Valdivia and Sandy Saenz each hit a double and two singles for 2-2 Handmade.

Don’s Vending is 3-1 after a 15-7 triumph over Let’s Do This.

Cory Casillas smashed a single and triple for the Vendors. Alma Quistian keyed a five-run fifth with a two-run double. Franny Lopez went 4-for-4 for Let’s Do This.
