Dear Editor,
I am concerned about letters to the editor that misrepresent
Michael Moore and
”
Fahrenheit 9/11.
”
There was a recent letter that said that Moore was a
”
traitor
”
and that he
”
wanted
”
to see more
”
body bags from Iraq.
”
That is a very sad misrepresentation.
Dear Editor,
I am concerned about letters to the editor that misrepresent Michael Moore and “Fahrenheit 9/11.” There was a recent letter that said that Moore was a “traitor” and that he “wanted” to see more “body bags from Iraq.” That is a very sad misrepresentation.
What is seriously wrong with America is that we seem not to be able to tolerate heroes. Could a Martin Luther King become a hero today? Could anyone with appeal to all? Can we choose the right? We have lost faith in the human race, and we certainly think that anything liberal is suspect.
Moore meant well. He cares about people. When will these naysayers see the light. Or will it be too late.
We are engaged in a war that hurts many at home and abroad. Did Jesus ask for that? Did he ask us to go into the Middle East and in the process destroy the lives of innocent people over there, as well?
Think about it. America and the world needs help, not the words of those who have no faith in others.
