What are your plans after high school?
After high school, I plan to get a part-time job and attend Gavilan College for my general education (Associate in Arts Transfer degree). Once I have completed these requirements, I plan to transfer to San Jose State University to obtain an interior design degree. Â

My favorite high school memory was when I got the $1,000 Sean Michael Merriman Memorial Scholarship. Thank you so much Merrimans!
What inspires you?
What inspires me are my future goals; I have plenty and they are my motivation.
What’s your dream career?
My dream career is becoming an interior designer. I am so excited, I cannot wait to start! Â Â
Favorite subject:
Art is, by far, “the best” and my favorite subject. I love to draw on my free time.
What you’ll miss the most:
At AdvancePath, I have met the best teachers who motivated me to move forward and this is what I will miss the most about high school.
Advice to incoming freshmen:
The advice I would give incoming freshman would be to: ask good questions (do not be shy); stand out (in a good way); be well mannered; and take advantage of your “free” education. Most importantly, do not listen to the people who tell you you cannot “make it,” beccause you can. Instead, make those words your motivation to prove “the haters” wrong. And most of all, do not forget to have fun.
