GILROY—Katelyn Brolin and Jacob Beardsley, eighth graders from Ascension Solarsono Middle School topped the list of their peers from the Gilroy’s Most Fit competition on June 1.
The duo completed the course of 22 obstacles in the fastest times for their grade. Beardsley finished in 10 minutes, 52 seconds, while Brolin completed the course in 13:16.
South Valley’s Aischa Goudy was first for the seventh grade girls (13:31) and Juan Pirir-Lopez, also from South Valley, was the boy’s top finisher with a time of 12:03.
Leading the way for the sixth grade class was Brownell’s Christopher Critzer (13:15) on the boy’s side and South Valley’s Aphrodite Ayala for the girls (13:47).
