A deadline for Mt. Madonna YMCA’s youth soccer signups is coming on Wednesday to receive a $25 discount, be guaranteed a spot and a chance to play with a specific player or coach.
Y-Sports is open to boys and girls, ages 2-13, who want the opportunity to play in organized sports. The season starts March 22.
Skill development, participation and teamwork are stressed in this non-competitive program. Teams are coached by YMCA-trained, volunteer parents.
Those registering after Wednesday will be signed up on a first-come, first-served basis until all spots are filled. This program is limited by the number of volunteer coaches available.
Download a registration form at mtmadonnaymca.org and bring the completed form with your payment to the Centennial Recreation Center at 171 Edmundson Ave. in Morgan Hill or the Mt. Madonna YMCA at 1057 First St. in Gilroy. You also must sign a liability waiver on registration. Program fees include a jersey, end-of-season medal and a certificate.
For more information, including the cost, visit mtmadonnaymca.org or call (408) 762-6000. Financial assistance is available.
