Danny Gutierrez drove in game-winning run and Javier Garcia sealed the deal to snap a five-game losing streak for the Rams.
Gavilan beat City College of San Francisco 4-2 in 11 innings at Fairmont Field in Pacifica Tuesday.Â
With the game tied 2-2, Guiterrez singled to score Andrew Bueno. Garcia put the nail in the coffin for CCSF with a single of his own to score Guiterrez.
Guitierrez reached on an error in the first inning which allowed DJ Santellano to score. Gutierrez crossed the plate off a Jake Conlan double to give Gavilan a 2-0 lead.
Conlan was 2 for 5 with a double and an RBI, while Santellano was 1 for 4 with a run, a stolen base and a walk.
Guiterrez also got the win on the bump. He gave up one run on two hits and  a walk while striking out one over three innings. He was 1 for 5 at the plate with two runs and an RBI.Â
CCSF scored one in the bottom of the sixth and another in the ninth to force extra innings.
Gavilan (8-12 overall, 2-6 in league) will play at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at West Valley.

The Gavilan softball team blasted past Mission, 13-0, Tuesday at home.
