One run was all the Gavilan baseball team could muster up in its 11-1 loss to Ohlone Saturday.Â
The result marks a three-game skid for the Rams, who dropped to 10-18 on the season, 4-12 in conference play.
The Renegade led 7-0 heading into the bottom of the fourth when Gavilan was able to push its lone run across. Eric Guill-Perez reached on a fielder’s choice to allow Danny Guiterrez to score.Â
Guiterrez led the team with two hits in the game.
Ohlone added two runs in both the fifth and ninth innings for the final.
Scott Tall was the losing pitcher, tossing four innings giving up eight runs — four earned — on eight hits while walking two.Â
The Rams will travel to Cupertino to play De Anza at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
