David L. Baty Jr., age 86, passed away in Gilroy Dec. 14, 2002.
Mr. Baty has been a Gilroy resident for over 60 years.
He is survived by his wife Beuanna Baty of Gilroy. He is the father of Robert and wife Sue Baty of Prescott, Ariz., John T. Baty of Gilroy, Bert and wife Linda Baty of Canby, Ore., Jack Baty of St. Louis, Mo., Steve and wife Betty Baty of Gilroy, and Beuanna and husband Pat Meyer of Hollister.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Shirley Baty-Anderson and two sons David Lee and Darell Baty.
He is the brother of Preston Baty of Gilroy, Mabel Wilhite of Wasco and Dora Reis of Gilroy; grandfather of 13; great Grandfather of two.
He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2002 at 2 p.m. at Habing Family Funeral Home. Visitation will start at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Burial will be at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, Gilroy.
Donations to the Diabetes Foundation are preferred.
