DEAR EDITOR:
Well done, Mr. Williams! Those last two sentences were very
clear. You are saying that I have an inflated ego.
DEAR EDITOR:
Well done, Mr. Williams! Those last two sentences were very clear. You are saying that I have an inflated ego. However, at the risk of being accused of dodging the issue, I don’t think my ego is important enough to serve as a topic of debate.
I can’t find any other substantive topics in your letter of Oct. 18, and I don’t keep your letters of bygone years. (The current letter will go into the blue bin as soon as I finish this response.) Perhaps I should feel flattered that you keep some of mine, dated and filed. But I don’t. I find your actions a trifle peculiar.
