GILROY – The Titans opened the Men’s E League adult basketball schedule with a 46-44 double-overtime victory over Stuft Pizza Thursday at South Valley Junior High School.

Arnold Tellez struck for 14 of his team-high 16 points in the second half as the Titans rallied from a 20-16 intermission deficit. Ron Reed added 12 points to the Titans attack.

Al Gallegos scored 18 points and Manuel Lopez dropped in 12 markers for Stuft Pizza (1-1).

Andres Espinoza poured in 20 points to lead Pizza N Stuff-Toto Stingers past Goldsmith Seeds 46-41. Rudy Mirelez notched two three-point field goals in an eight-point effort for Pizza N Stuff-Toto Stingers. Joel Goldsmith hit three 3-pointers in the second half and finished with 20 points for the Seeds. Chris Vigilante aided the Goldsmith cause with 13 points.

Javier Armenta scored 16 points to pace Net Magic by the Playaz 49-40. J.R. Hernandez meshed 18 points for the Playaz.

Handmade Healthcare used 23 points from Mike McAvoy to topple Rocha’s Drywall 53-41. Britt Bigalow provided 12 points for Handmade. Jose Maciel struck for 14 points, Gary Rosa 11 for 0-2 Rocha’s.

Christi Ledesma and Rae-Anne Yip each scored 22 points as Above the Rim moved to 2-0 in Women’s League play with a 63-8 nod over Krazy Koyote-Dutchman’s Pizza Wednesday. Kathy Flores led the Dutchman’s offense with five points.

Williams Dental Lab defeated Togo’s 31-15 to leave both clubs at 1-1. Maxine Chavez struck for 16 points for Williams. Lena Tabron led the Togo’s offense with seven points.

Sig Reynisson scored 14 points and Jacob Garcia delivered 11 as Morgan Hill Garage Door opened D League play Tuesday with a 45-28 win over Mitchell Excavation. Billy Holler hustled to seven points for Mitchell Excavation.

Bob Lemmon poured in 26 points as Headstart Nursery defeated Fritter-Schulz Physical Therapy. A.J. Mathews led the Therapist offense with eight points.

David Herrera scored 28 points as Gaeta’s Taqueria turned back Dutchman’s-Krazy Koyote 85-61. Nathan Sanders and Sonny Old Elk each scored 16 points and Nigel Williams turned four 3-pointers into 14 points for the winners. Mark Cisneros paced the Krazy Koyote attack with 28 points, while Will Williams scored 13, Roman Dolven 11.
