■ If it is just DUI, then no. but then again, maybe we would learn a harder lesson and maybe not repeat.

■ No. The judge should have the discretion to apply whatever sentence he/she deems appropriate.

■ No. Keep them off the road indefinitely after the arrest is a better idea.

■ No, unless they have killed or injured someone. Education & community service and a steep fine are the way to go.

■ No – however, if the offense is severe in the eye of the judge than, yes, they should.

■ YES. Even a drunk ‘first-time’ offender is capable of killing innocent drivers or pedestrians.
