Ronald T. Nishita born in Hollister,CA to Frank and Betty Nishita, passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 10, 2008 in Tucson, Arizona. He is survived by his devoted wife of 22 years, Elaine; his father; his brother, Steve (Leanne); nieces; nephews; many cousins; and numerous loving and close friends. His loyalty to friends, family and his country was the quality most evident in his life by those who knew and loved him.
Ron served in the U.S. Army, 1969 -1972 in Vietnam, F Troop 8th Calvary Blue Ghosts, surviving serious injuries with his optimism and energy intact. He loved a good game of poker, bowling, golfing and fishing as often as he could.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2008 at 4:00 P.M. at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home, 870 San Benito St., Hollister, CA.
